AltaSigna is a fully automated document generation and dispatching product that incorporates authentication and privacy features. It enables the smooth transition of business from the real world to the digital world.

AltaSigna is capable of parsing and extracting raw data contained in HTML / PRN /XML files or any other file containing pure ASCII characters and generating customized documents for the business’ clients.

While most document generation software come with ready-made templates that the business can choose from, AltaSigna allows the creation of a suitable template itself. This feature allows the business to generate e-documents that closely resemble their paper counterparts thus enabling the business to provide the comfort of familiarity to its customers.

AltaSigna can generate e-documents of type PDF/ HTML, digitally sign them, encrypt them and dispatch them by e-mail/FTP/HTTP or simply store them in the local system. Dispatching can be done immediately upon document generation or configured to be done at a later time.

AltaSigna bestows authenticity on e-documents by digitally signing them thus protecting customers from phishing attacks. The product is configurable so that different services belonging to the same entity can have a separate signer. Thus a financial institution offering retail banking and credit card services can assign for each service its respective authorized signer.

In cases where confidentiality is also desired, AltaSigna can encrypt the final e-documents before dispatching them.
The following cryptographic algorithms are supported by the product.

• 1024 / 2048 bit RSA Signature algorithm (Conforming to PKCS1 and PKCS 7)

• SHA1/MD5 Hashing algorithms

• RC4, DES, 3DES Encryption algorithms   

AltaSigna comes with an intuitive web interface for remote administration and operation. Administrators and operators can be configured into the system with the option to identify themselves using passwords or digital certificates. AltaSigna supports all digital certificates conforming to the X509 standard and also has a certificate generation engine built into it. The built-in certification generation engine also sports X509 V2 CRLs (Certificate Revocation Lists). AltaSigna private keys follow the PKCS #12  format, and the product’s  administrators and operators  can carry their keys in any media they prefer.

AltaSigna produces dynamic reports that aid in keeping track of the activities of the various administrators as well as document schedule and dispatch information. If the dispatch method is by e-mail, AltaSigna also keeps track of bounced mails.

All activities of the administrators as welperators of the product will be digitally signed by the corresponding person and the signature logged and produced as a report.
