Crypta Vault

Odyssey Crypta Vault tokenizes and secures sensitive data thereby reducing the risk of unauthorized access.

Crypta Vault is an enterprise tokenization solution. It helps organizations to be in compliance with information security regulations of PCI, UIDAI etc.

With cyber attacks on the rise, the need to protect Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is very critical. Reducing the footprint of sensitive information in the enterprise is the best known strategy.

Tokenization replaces sensitive information such as credit card number, account number etc with a token consisting of seemingly random characters and numbers.

In the event of a breach the attacker will gain only meaningless tokens and the sensitive data will stay protected.


Universal Tokenization
Accepts all forms of data such as credit card number, permanent account number, passport number, mobile number, aadhaar number, date of birth etc.
Format Preservation
Generates tokens that are of the same length and type as the source data. This enables businesses to continue to use their applications, data stores and structures as they are.
Secure Data Storage
Facilitates storage of large data objects such as photographs, aadhaar XML, scanned identification documents and similar. The data is protected using strong AES encryption.
Character Masking
Enables revealing only partial characters on a need-to-know basis to configured applications. The rest of the characters are obscured with a constant symbol. This helps in limiting exposure even within the enterprise.
Bulk Storage & Retrieval
Contains APIs for operating on multiple data items in a single request increasing application efficiencies.
Simple and lightweight REST APIs for authorized applications to avail the tokenization and storage services of Crypta.
Comprehensive Reports
Administrator activities and daily API usage are logged and are available as reports through the administrator interface.
Uses RDBMS for storing server and admin logs as well as for the encrypted principal data. Currently supports Oracle and MySQL.
HSM Protected Key
Lifecycle of encryption keys are managed entirely in Hardware Security Modules (HSM). Supports all cryptographic hardwares that are compliant to FIPS 140-2 and above.
A single installation of Crypta can be logically divided into multiple compartmentalized instances. This facilitates use by multiple business units and departments with appropriate data isolation.
