Sign and verify documents on the go with xorkeesign’s progressive web app
Users can add xorkeesign as a Progressive Web Application(PWA) to their mobile home screens. It helps them combine the power of other applications like email and whatsapp with that of xorkeesign. xorkeesign users when in the home screen can use the option provided by the browser to ‘add to the homescreen’ or ‘install app’ depending on the environment.
Once it is chosen, xorkeesign resides as an app on the users’ home screen that lets them access xorkeesign without having to open the browser and type in the URL. Thereafter, xorkeesign app is also recognized as a share target by the other applications in the environment. This means that when a user receives a file as a whatsapp message attachment, he can click on it and choose xorkeesign as the target. The file is opened in xorkeesign and lets the user to sign the document.
The user can also choose to directly share the signed document through the same whatsapp or any other communication application. This allows the users to build ad hoc workflows with a couple of simple clicks. There is no need to integrate the API for such simple needs. These features bring some small conveniences to the users' work processes. But in practice, when this occurs repeatedly, the users will realize the enormous time saving this has brought in.
